Dear friends,
We are quickly approaching the Holiday season. As I reflect upon past holidays, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and nostalgia as I consider the traditions that have marked my celebrations. Giving gifts has always been a pivotal part of celebrating with those I love. As I relish my holiday traditions, I am painfully aware of the truth that my reality is entirely unrelatable to the families we serve at BeyondHome. I am unable to imagine the sense of powerlessness and despondency at being unable to provide gifts for my family at Christmas time.
BeyondHome has historically worked with community "adopters" to get our families gifts at Christmas. This year, we asked our families if they wanted gifts or a gift card to be able to get gifts for their family. It was a split! By supporting this campaign, you are playing a role in giving hard working families a special Christmas this year.
