MIC DROP: The Power of US is more than a talent show. It’s a celebration of courage, creativity, and community. This one-of-a-kind event puts BeyondHome youth in the spotlight, giving them the chance to perform, be seen, and command an audience on their own terms.
Whether you join us for dinner, the show, or the full evening, you are part of something bigger: creating spaces where young people feel valued, supported, and empowered.
Why This Event Matters
This event is entirely planned, organized, and executed by BeyondHome youth.
Every ticket purchased, every clap from the audience, and every dollar raised helps unlock opportunities our youth wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
Together, they’re raising $15,000 to fund:
- Field trips that expand horizons beyond daily life
- Extracurricular activities that build confidence and identity
- Enrichment experiences that foster joy, connection, and growth
These aren’t “extras.” They are critical moments where young people discover who they are and who they can become.
